The Walter and Leonore Annenberg Pavilion provides 160 new inpatient beds at the Eisenhower Medical Center (EMC) campus. Located in Rancho Mirage, California, EMC is the regional medical center serving a surrounding desert community that is home to over 350,000 permanent residents. As a popular resort destination, EMC experiences unusually high seasonal fluctuation annually resulting in a short-term surge in bed demand during peak months. The Annenberg Pavilion is designed to accommodate this seasonal impact by providing 88 additional beds upon demand resulting in up to 248 additional licensed beds when in full “Surge Mode”.

Special amenities include family and visitor areas, window-beds for overnight guests, and hotel-like suites. Patients are provided with personal choices, and can make dining selections from healthy, restaurant-style menus with bedside nutritional counselors.
